California Olive Ranch
The client was looking to capitalize on an increase of direct to consumer sales driven by Covid-19 lockdowns.
At the time they sold their products in a variety of heavy glass bottles & had no shipping solution.

The initial engagement was to solve the shipping issue to enable eCommerce.
They required a modular system that would allow them to ship 1-6 bottles of different sized products.
The largest configuration was six 1 liter bottles, weighting 20lbs.

The solution was a modular system that shipped a variety of bottle sizes using the fewest possible parts & withstood a standard 3' 36 drop test.

The best solution for eCommerce, would be to move away from glass & lightweight their packaging system.
A lightweight system makes shipping products easier, cheaper & unlocks larger formats for bulk customers.
