Plant based products are a growing market. The client was starting a new brand of hot filled fresh organic vegan soups, their unique offering was to include a pairing of dry toppings with each soup flavor.

However, many of the soup toppings contain allergens and could not be directly handled in the soup production facility. This issue was also combined with the constraint of not adding additional steps to the automated soup packing line.

The solution was to create a pre-packed lid that would keep the dry ingredients fresh, fit on the packing line and pair beautifully with the IML hot-fillable base container.
