This is the second iteration of the brewery (previously West by Three) that I founded in 2016 with Richard Axon, my good friend of 30 years. Unfortunately, we were forced to rebrand in 2019 after a tedious legal battle over two similar but legally granted trademarks.

Freetime was born, we both have full time jobs. Rich as an Air Ambulance helicopter pilot and me as a (much less exciting) designer. We decided to lean into that fact and that is how we end up choosing the name Freetime.

My contribution to the endeavor is all things design, the website, IT and whenever possible staffing the bar at beer festivals.
