Beats Packaging v2 - 2013 to 2017

The second version of the packaging system for Beats.

Beats had turned 4 years old but by that time they had released more than 130 SKUs across four product categories. It was a sprawling portfolio of products with many bespoke packaging solutions driven by a variety of constraints.

The focus of this phase of work was to create new families of structures that had a unifying “Beats feel” but were designed to solve the product specific problems.

The new system brought improvements to the out of box experience, had components that could be customized quickly and affordably for special collaboration releases, used less material and added more modular and reusable in-box accessories.
